It was interesting but a bit lame. I question his resources. It's all a tad over the top.
Excellent book, once again by the author. Allegro, a high respected linguist who was involved in the translations of the Dead Sea Scrolls. If you are willing to expand your openness beyond the controlled dogma of the current educational system and societal belief structures imposed upon us, you will find a much different picture of the origins of humanity. There are other books written by other authors that validate this authors assertions, one of them being the works of John M. Allegro was deemed to be highly controversial by the "establishment" as is Sitchin. An excellent book that you can use to refer to for future investigative work.
The book arrived on time and in great condition. The book itself is bizarre. Sitchin appears to be normal, well-read and intelligent but his suppositions are presented as fact, yet seem made-up and silly. Possibly to enjoy this book as either fact or extroadinary fiction one would need to read his other books prior to this one.
This book repesents the work of decoding the writings/symbols from thousands of Sumerian clay tablets. This book is well written and worth reading.
I have read many of Sitchin's books and was expecting to encounter some new perspective but unfortunately I have put the book down after only reading about half. Maybe I will pick it up again and read the other half but you hate to just go over territory that has been written time and again without any new insight. It is another re-hash of all the things he has documented in the past, sort of summary form. I expected some real conclusions and new info but at least in the first half of the book I did not find them. I was rather disappointed. If you have never read any of the other books, then it is a rather good summary of past research.
